Creating Interactive 360° Videos

360° videos provide immersive experiences that allow viewers to explore content in an interactive way. With Cinema8, you can enhance your 360° videos with interactive elements like hotspots, clickable buttons, and navigation menus.

Step 1: Upload a 360° Video
  • Go to your Cinema8 dashboard.
  • Click "New Video" and select "Upload 360° Video".
  • Choose a video file recorded in 360° format and upload it.
Step 2: Enable 360° Mode
  • Once the video is uploaded, Cinema8 will automatically detect it as a 360° file.
  • Confirm that the 360° Mode is enabled in the video settings.
Step 3: Add Interactive Elements
  • Open the Interaction Designer in the editor.
  • Drag and drop elements like:
    • Hotspots: Clickable areas that provide more information or direct users to different parts of the video.
    • Navigation Menus: Allow users to jump to specific locations within the 360° video.
    • Call-to-Actions (CTAs): Add clickable buttons for lead generation or external links.
Step 4: Customize Viewer Controls
  • Adjust camera angles and default perspectives.
  • Enable or disable user control options like drag navigation and gyroscope support for mobile users.
Step 5: Preview and Publish
  • Click "Preview" to check the interactivity of your video.
  • Once finalized, click "Publish" and choose a sharing option:
    • Public: Shareable with anyone.
    • Private: Accessible only to selected viewers.
    • Password Protected: Secure access with a password.
