Using the video branching editor
Video Branching: Crafting Personalized Viewer Experiences
Video branching empowers creators to design diverse story paths that viewers can explore through their decisions. This feature elevates interactivity to new heights, offering each viewer a unique and deeply personal experience. Below are some use cases and engagement benefits:
E-Learning (for All Audiences)
Video branching facilitates adaptive learning experiences where the content path evolves based on the learner's responses or choices. This personalization caters to the learner's knowledge level, learning pace, and interests, making corporate training or educational content more effective, memorable, and engaging.
Onboarding
Video branching can simulate workplace scenarios, allowing new employees to make decisions in hypothetical situations. This engaging and risk-free approach helps familiarize them with company policies, customer service standards, or operational procedures.
Video Marketing
Video branching enables marketers to deliver targeted content that dynamically adjusts to viewer selections. For example, viewers can choose scenarios based on their age group, interests, or buying habits, leading to tailored video segments specifically designed for them. This personalized approach ensures that each viewer receives a marketing message that feels crafted just for them, significantly boosting engagement and increasing conversion rates.
At Cinema8, we make creating interactive experiences like video branching easy and fast, so you can focus on engaging your audience with impactful, personalized content.
Use Video Brancing
1. Click on the “Branching Editor”: button from the left panel. Branching is the area where we can see the connected projects with each other.
2. Create Decision Points: Within the editor, insert interactive elements such as buttons or hotspots at junctures where you want viewers to make choices. Each choice should link to the subsequent video segment that corresponds to that decision.
3. Define Branching Logic: Use the editor to establish connections between video segments based on viewer choices. This involves setting up conditional paths that dictate the flow of the narrative.
4. Incorporate Additional Interactive Elements: Enhance engagement by adding quizzes, forms, or clickable areas that provide more information or gather viewer input.
