Managing Subscriptions and User Accounts

Cinema8 offers flexible subscription plans to meet different needs, whether you're an individual creator or part of a large team. This guide explains how to manage your subscription, upgrade or downgrade plans, and control user accounts.

How to manage your Cinema8 subscription
  • Access your subscription settings: Log in to Cinema8 and click on your profile in the top-right corner. Select Account Settings > Subscription & Billing.
  • View your current plan: The dashboard will display your current plan, billing cycle, and available features.
  • Upgrade or downgrade your plan: Click Change Plan to view available options. Select the plan that fits your needs and confirm the upgrade or downgrade. If upgrading, your new features will be activated immediately.
  • Update payment details: Click Manage Payment Method to update your credit card or billing information.
  • Cancel or pause your subscription: If you need to cancel or pause your plan, go to Subscription Settings and select the appropriate option. 💡 Note: Some features, like AI-powered subtitles, are only available on paid plans. If you need access, consider upgrading your plan.
Managing user accounts in Cinema8

If you have a team plan, you can manage multiple user accounts within your subscription. Go to Account Settings > Users

  • View all users: View all users currently on your account.
  • Add new users: Click Invite User and enter their email. Assign a role (Admin, Editor, Viewer).
  • Edit or remove users: Click on a user’s name to update their permissions. Remove users if they no longer need access. For a detailed guide, check How to Create and Edit Users in Cinema8.
