Adding captions to your videos improves accessibility and viewer engagement. Cinema8’s Subtitle Editor allows you to manually add, edit, and sync captions with ease.

How to Access the Subtitle Editor
  • Go to your My Videos section on the Cinema8 dashboard.
  • Select a video and click "Edit Video".
  • Click on "Add Subtitles" to open the Subtitle Editor.
How to Add Captions

Manual Caption Entry

  • Click "Add New Caption".
  • Type the text for your subtitle.
  • Use the timeline to set the exact start and end times.

Upload a Subtitle File

  • Click "Upload Subtitle File" and select a .SRT or .VTT file.
  • Review the imported captions and adjust timing if necessary.
Editing Subtitles
  • Click on any subtitle block to edit the text.
  • Adjust the start and end times using the timeline.
  • Use the Preview button to check synchronization.
Customizing Subtitle Appearance
  • Choose different font styles, sizes, and colors.
  • Set background opacity for better visibility.
  • Position subtitles at different parts of the screen.
Saving and Exporting
  • Click "Save" to keep your changes.
