Support for CMI5 and Xapi

The Experience API (or xAPI) is a new specification for learning technology that enables the collection of data about various experiences a person has, both online and offline. This API consistently captures data about the activities of individuals or groups across multiple technologies. Different systems can securely communicate by capturing and sharing these activity streams using xAPI's simple vocabulary.

The "cmi" in cmi5 stands for "computer managed instruction." It is an additional set of rules that leverages the benefits of xAPI (primarily for capturing e-learning data from diverse sources) while also narrowing down its otherwise broad and flexible specification.

Currently, Cinema8 does not support xAPI and cmi5. However, our learning technology expert group is working on adding cmi5 export capabilities to the platform in future releases.
