Creating Channels for Your Audience

Cinema8 channels allow you to curate and present your video content in a branded, audience-facing environment. Channels can be used for training hubs, product showcases, customer onboarding portals, and more.

How to Create a Channel

Step 1: Access the Channel Manager

  • Navigate to My Channels from the Cinema8 dashboard.

Step 2: Add a New Channel

  • Click Add New Channel to open the creation form.

  • Complete the required fields under:

    • Basic Information

      • Channel name (e.g. “Customer Training Hub”)
      • Channel handle (custom URL slug)
      • Description (what the channel is about)

    • Branding

      • Upload a profile picture
      • Upload a banner image to display at the top of the channel

Step 3: Save and Populate the Channel

  • Click Save to create the channel.
  • You can now start adding videos and playlists to build your channel content.

With channels, you can group content strategically and deliver a professional, branded experience for different audiences—whether public or internal.
