Creating Your First Video

Cinema8 makes it easy to go from idea to a fully interactive, high-quality video — whether it’s a tutorial, a product demo, or an immersive 360° experience.
This guide walks you through the full workflow to help you confidently publish your first video.


Step 1: Start a New Video

  • Log in to your Cinema8 Dashboard.
  • Click the “New Video” button.
  • Choose how you want to begin:
    • Upload an existing video
    • Record your screen
    • Use a ready-made template
    • Create a 360° interactive video

Step 2: Add Interactivity

Make your content more engaging with built-in interaction tools:

  • Click “Add Interactivity” in the editor.
  • Drag and drop elements such as:
    • Clickable CTAs
    • Embedded forms
    • Hotspots
    • Interactive quizzes

These elements let your audience engage directly with your content — boosting retention and ROI.


Step 3: Edit Your Video

Use Cinema8’s built-in tools to polish your project:

  • Trim and cut clips to improve pacing.
  • Add background music and sound effects for a polished feel.
  • Adjust transitions and layer elements on the timeline.

Step 4: Preview and Publish

Once you’re happy with your edits:

  1. Click “Preview” to test all interactions.
  2. Click “Publish” to go live.
  3. Choose your video’s visibility:
    • Public: Accessible to everyone
    • Private: Restricted to selected users
    • Password Protected: Adds an extra layer of security

Cinema8 also lets you generate an embed code to display your video on your website or blog — perfect for product launches or tutorials.
