Exporting SCORM Packages from Cinema8
SCORM allows Cinema8 videos to be embedded into popular LMS platforms while supporting detailed learner tracking and completion rules.
Step 1: Open Sharing Options
Open your video in Cinema8 Creative Studio. Click the Share button in the top-right corner and navigate to the SCORM Export tab.
Step 2: Configure SCORM Settings
- Select a SCORM version:
- SCORM 1.2: Compatible with most LMS platforms, including Moodle, Blackboard, and Akademi.net.
- SCORM 2004 (3rd Edition): Offers extended tracking and reporting.
- Set a minimum watch time: Define how much of the video must be watched for the LMS to register completion.
- Complete all required fields and save your configuration.
Step 3: Export the SCORM Package
Click Export to generate a ZIP file. Download and store the SCORM package on your device.
Step 4: Upload to Your LMS
Go to your LMS (e.g., Akademi.net or Moodle) and upload the package via the Content Upload or Course Manager. Then:
- Configure completion criteria
- Enable progress tracking
- Assign the content to a course or lesson
